Apple is one of the few multinationals that can afford the luxury of not spending money on advertising. Generated such excitement among consumers and the press that has always boasted of ads need not be revealed. But from now, will go further and will be virtually the only corporation to surrender to participate in all kinds of fairs and events, including those organized by itself, to make their commercials more important.

The Californian company has announced that the next will be the last year that participate in the Macworld Expo, its flagship event dedicated to presenting its major commercial developments. Philip Schiller, senior vice president of Marketing Apple Worldwide Product, made the inaugural presentation of the upcoming Macworld Conference & Expo, which will be the last Apple keynote presentation at this event, to be held in San Francisco (USA) from 5 to January 9, 2009.

"Apple is reaching more people and different ways, as never before. And as for other companies, fairs and exhibitions have become a minority of the main avenues through which Apple reaches its customers, "the company said in a briefing note.
